Original Equipment to 1972-74 (1973) Oldsmobile 455 cubic inch engine.
Cleaned and lubed carb with carb kit including:
Ethanol resistant carburetor components - new accelerator pump - needle and seat - bowl gasket - base gasket.
New power piston retainer bushing and carburetor filter installed. Original jets (70) and NOS primary (53C) metering rods. Original secondary metering rods.
New choke pull-off.
Rebuilt base plate with bronze primary throttle shaft bushings.
Float bowl plugs sealed.
Bolt on, adjust for your hot air choke, if necessary, to your needs, connect and adjust throttle linkage and fuel inlet, adjust timing if needed, idle, air mixture, and vacuum hook-ups.
I have tested this carburetor on my 350 SBC engine stand, functioning well at an operating temperature of 180-200 degrees F, and fuel pressure (4 psi).
