With the paint markings and box, there's no reason to think its not the real deal. The part number may differ, but this is essentially the same cam as used in the 1966-67 W30s. I sold one of those (factory original, never used, but with no box) some years back for $300. Some (most?)people think the modern cam grinds give better performance/streetability, but there are collectors out there I am sure who would be very interested in that cam (be a shame to use it, though!).

I agree not to use it, I would like to have it just to fondle and put under my pillow at night.

Looks totally legit, except it is 308/308, not 328/328.
Great cam!
Even though the cam number is different, it is basically the same cam as the '66-'67 W30.
NOS cams are not such a big deal nowadays, as machining technology has advanced to the point where you can get any grind to a cam you want without it costing a fortune.
He's also selling the monster '68-'70 W30 cam.

GM Performance Parts is pushing that new Aniversary Edition ZL1 427 that way,
you can use it or " Put it on an engine stand and just enjoy!"
