Olds Big Block 400 & 455 Blocks

Olds Big Block 400 & 455 Blocks

Selling the blocks I have left. 1- Fa 455 block baked blasted and pressure checked. Over 250 in work done. Standard bore. $300 guaranteed good. 1- 69 455 F block $200. 1 69 442 400 G block. standard bore. Baked blasted and pressure checked. Guaranteed good $750. 1- 66-67 400 E block with forged steel crank standard bore $675. 1-69 400 G shortblock. Missing 1 rod/piston. Standard bore $675. 1 set C heads $250 bare. 262-527-5279

Whats the julian date on the 455 and what is the vin number on the block

The Julian date is where the distributor goes. There will be a number there (1-365). The vin number is stamped on the block below the #1 piston. Hopefully it starts with M30 followed by 6 digits.

I think rjohnson442 is asking the physical location of the engine blocks. And, by the looks of the area code in the seller's phone number, it's likely they are in the Milwaukee, WI area.

You are correct Mr. Johnson. I live in Port Washington, WI about 20 minutes directly north of downtown Milwaukee, right off of I43. As for the 455 block date code, which block are you referring to? the Fa block or the 69 F block?

I am intrested in the 66-67 400 you have. Is it still the stock 4" bore and what do the cylinders and crank looik like?
