I bought this foam seal from Thornton thinking it would be an exact match to the originals (wouldn't you think?) but the sides are kind of a dull gray instead of a shiny black vinyl. Replaced it with another I found online. This has been installed for a few months and removed, so the one side has the glue marks where I removed it. Free if you'd like it; I'll even cover postage.

First off, it was very nice to give this away free of charge. That said, do you have pics to show what the replacement looks like? Does it have the original yellowish color on the foam along with the gloss black sides? Where did you find the new one?

Sure - I got this from Motor City Supercars, which I believe is the same as Inline Tube and at least one more on eBay. Correct shiny black on the outside, but still the gray foam inside. Funny how that seems to be so difficult to manufacture…. :/
