Most of these fit 70-72. One thing I'm noticing about these though (when I used the enlarge feature) is these don't have the bright reveal around edges. That makes them specific for 70/71 CS and SX models with the wide lower body line trim.

Correct Allan R, while these will fit 72 models I think they are made specifically for the 70/71 Cutlass Supreme and SX models. I was not aware they were different when I bought them as the outer housing is not chromed because its covered by the wide molding. I have since found the correct chrome ones for my car and don't need these.

I didn't realize there are different lights for a Supreme and 442. Will the standard lights also work on a Supreme?

Don't get too confused here. In 1970 and 1971 the Cutlass Supreme was offered with an SX package and a Halo roof which included the wide lower body trim. That trim covers the edge of the marker lights, which makes these ones specific for those cars. The regular marker lights with chrome surrounds will fit all 1970-72 Cutlass models. Note: The SX and CS wide trim also required special wheel opening moldings since they stopped at the trim line, not the bottom of the rocker panel.

Supreme marker lights

I have a 70 Supreme that I plan on making my own version of an SX. Either style of lights will work with the Supreme trim then?

Yes, the reveal of the lens will be covered by the trim. Remember you also need special wheel opening moldings for the SX and CS with wide lower body trim. The standard opening moldings are too long

Looking at the price from some of the vendors, why don't you seriously consider the lenses that are being offered for sale? That's a decent price for OEM NOS parts including shipping.

Thanks for the info Allan R. I'm definitely interested in these. No sense wasting a nice set of markers with the chrome and have them covered by trim. I have the wheel well trim for the rear but am gonna need a nice set for the front. Probably 2 pair...I also have a 71 convertible waiting in line.
