Lakewood SFI 4 Speed Bellhousing & 425 Flywheels

Leftovers from the 4 speed setup.

Lakewood #15100. Had to trim the starter opening to clear the headers. Still functions as it should. No hardware. $500 + shipping.

425 steel flywheels. One has a SFI sticker and the other does not but they are both SFI. $200 each + shipping.

Is the upper flywheel for internal balance? I don't see any drill holes or added weight.

They are both drilled for external balance. The top one has 6 holes and the bottom one has 4.

Have you set the flywheels on crankshafts to make sure they are the early 330, 400, 425 vs. the 350, late 400, 455? The reason I ask is one of the flywheels has an imprint of the U shaped crankshaft which would have been a later style crankshaft. The early ones should have a checkmark shape to the notch in the crank.

Confirmed they are both 425 flywheels. I have had a lot of motors apart over the years but the bolt pattern does not line up with the 455 pattern.

I can't speak to how it was balanced since I did not pay for the machine work but they are for sure 425 pattern. I would expect the buyer would want to rebalance.

OK, just wanted to make sure before you went to the trouble of selling/shipping one. I've never seen a U shaped pattern left in the dirt on an early bolt pattern flywheel. I've only seen the U shape notch in the later bolt pattern crankshafts. But if you've checked it then you've had something I've never come across before.
