FYI, the lock cylinder has different grooves for different key blanks in each of those years. A 1970 "K" key blank won't physically go into a 1971 ("B" blank) or 1972 ("D" blank) lock cylinder, and vice versa. Each of the factory lock cylinder is one-year-only. Aftermarket locks frequently have this feature removed to allow one part number to fit multiple years, but that also means that more incorrect keys will open the lock. The key tag says "B51" which is the aftermarket code for the 1971 "B" key blank. If that's correct, this is a 1971 lock cylinder.
