J-405233 Intake REPLICA '68 H/O $400 plus sh'g
Cheap due to imperfections.
I did not notice the issues until after the modifications.
Has PCV boss, correct J and correct 405233 casting ID.
Made from J-398662 intake of course.
See pics on facebook Olds page. [watch for link soon]
NO CRACK between rear carb bores. Yay!
Imperfections:
LH acc'y 3/8" hole has thread damage? Like a bolt was drilled out. Still useable. Just not perfect.
small crack at LH head rail, usual spot, at round hole between 5 & 7
The main issue- on rear rail, there were two dings. One developed a tiny crack that should not pose any leak issue, but can certainly be sealed before install. The casting is deformed here, with a 1/32" gap vs a straightedge. It should be sealed using SILICONE, which is best anyhow.
I usually get around 5 just for the conversion.
You can have this entire intake for 400 + shipping.
