Free to good home. Need to clean out my piles of junk now that the project is winding down.....
Both fenders have 0 rust and are painted in an epoxy primer. The left fender has a large soft dent right above the wheel opening and both have some other minor dents and dings. They came off my '72 Supreme, so have the trim holes for that car. They've been stored in my attic for the past few years.
Why are they free?
Well, I attempted to replace the heel myself on both of them. The job was, technically, successful, but will require a lot of work to look good. The wheel opening is 100% original as the patch panels are terrible in that area. I cut off the outer skin and also cut off the reinforcement. Thoroughly de-rusted everything via blasting, welded back together then paid a shop to prime them. I still ran these on the car for two or three years. They would need to be re-don for a show job, would need a pound of mud for a daily driver, and are too good for a beater. So this is my cost for trying body work when I knew I was no good at it.
Note: free offer for pickup only. I'm located in Plano TX, just north of Dallas. You have to arrange transport/shipping.
I appreciate being able to talk with you about any and everything with your car. It was inspiring and I felt like a kid just soaking up as much as possible. Once you cranked it up all of the Modern day Frankenstein Mods came to life.....in a major way. Ty for the fenders my guy. Hope to see you and your ride again soon.
