edelbrock carb-new

edelbrock carb-new

new carb (#1406)never mounted. my edelbrock intake has the egr valve on it, so the carb will not fit. asking $220 obo. email:wghaskins@yahoo.com. thanks

I just installed the same carb on my buddies 72 Cutlass last week with the same manifold, If your not using a EGR valve and you have a block off plate on it you can get a 1 inch spacer and put a very slight bend on the bottom ear of the throttle it will be fine, I think you will be happy with the results with the 1406 carb, His car never ran as well as it does now. I am actually doing the same to my 69 Cutlass this weekend.

I had to do the same thing with a Holley carb. It works great.

Im located in Hazlet, NJ ..... I installed the Edelbrock yesterday on my 69 and worked out great

does the type of spacer matter-aluminum etc.
