This bellhousing was pulled from a 1976 Cutlass S that had the Olds 260 V8 and 5-speed combo. The housing has no stripped threads. I also have the clutch pedal from the same car.

I'm not an expert, but some additional features of your BH are starter accomadation on the left and right as well as the dual pattern for the trans for ford or Muncie.

 

I did notice the dual starter location provisions. Thought that was odd.
