Did any Olds motors have the starter on the Pass Side?

Are you sure that is not a Ford Bell? It doesn't have any opening in the bottom for clutch inspection.

it looks like Pontiac OHC 6..unique for sure

Starter is on the wrong side for an Olds. Olds is on the left side of the motor. That's for a Buick.

No it is not. I have one for the Pontiac OHC six and this is not like it.

yeah youre right the ear is in the wrong place for a OHC its too high.. just compared it to the ones i own.....

it must be buick v6 or 300..wonder what the casting number is?

64 GTO has a bell similar with no inspection opening..but the starter is on the other side..

its a mystery
