As a novice to Olds heads, would these heads increase the compression ratio of a low compression 455 or is the compression ratio determined by the pistons? I have a stock '73 455 with 8.5 - 1 compression and so a little higher efficiency through higher compression would be nice.

I had BTR build me a 468 I'm about a week or 2 away from firing it up.
These heads are from a 400 I refreshed awhile back,I really want to get rid of these c heads they are too nice to sit in my basement.
They are ready to run!

Steve,
Send me some pics, and info. Assume theses are the heads that the roller rockers came from? Might be able to use them, even though I had my B heads done. Tom@spa-poolspecialist.com
