Still have a bunch of engines, some of these and some others I've collected since creating this post. I've also got blocks, heads, cranks, etc. as I've dismantled several engines. What part of the country are you in? Ideally you should come here an go through the selection, but odds are your not close enough for that. I do have both 400 and 425 engines. I probably should update the thread or create a new one listing components too.

Thanks for keeping all these engines! I'll contact you in the future for a 455 for a project. I wish you were on the east coast!

I may have them in a coffee can somewhere. I've also got two complete 1964 330's but am not sure I want to sell parts off them. Let me look around this weekend.

I've gone through some coffee cans and struck out. Have you tried creating a parts wanted thread yet? If so and if you still can't find them anywhere send me a PM or email and maybe we can work something out. John

Just curious, if the machinist misplaced them, isn't he the one who should be replacing them?

Sorry, since I didn't get any takers I dismantled the engine and sold some of the parts. I've still got the block & crank, 2bbl intake, oil filter, timing cover, flywheel & transmission. Maybe some other parts but it would be the weekend before I could check to see. John

Thanks for getting back with me. I'm not real experienced with Olds engines. Othr than the appeal of keeping the car original is the 324 a well liked engine?
Thanks,
Josiah

I say all us Ca-nay-juns get together and ship over a truck load of parts

tony needs a powder coated frame.. and engine.. and trunk pans..

wait, wouldn't it be easier to buy a whole car?

Nope. that's no fun.

Josiah, I've never driven one. The two cars I've had that came with 324's were both dead cars. There are several members here who do drive their cars and they could probably give you a better idea of the strong points and weak areas they may have. I'd encourage you to read through the vintage forum and maybe contact redoldsman and Tedd Thompson. I believe they put a lot of miles on their cars that have the 324 engines. In fact Tedd is also in Northern California. John

I know I've got some complete core 330 & 350's but will have to look to see if I have a set of loose heads.

Thanks so much. Of course I'm looking for 4,5,6,7 or 7a heads.
