Here's an original AC Evaporator Box half - the engine side for a '72 GM A-body. '72's used this GREY COLORED fiberglass instead of the "browner"/darker fiberglass used on the evap cases in prior years.

Nice condition and not cracked, etc...as follows:

>CLEAN evap case half - no paint, grease, etc to clean off.

>No fading or "chalkiness"

>Unbroken/uncracked - many of these get smashed when an engine is carelessly pulled...valve cover smacks the side of the box half and it's broken.

>No broken screw tabs

>The box has been very lightly wet-sanded and it would probably be best to shoot it with a coat or two of satin clear enamel to bring back the more "glossy" original appearance.

>One spot repaired at a spot on some webbing at the top of the box. There was a very small gouge there and I filled and shaped it with grey JB Weld epoxy. Not super noticeable.
