Thanks for the info Joe.
I'm no expert on these parts, but comparing the two, I'm confident this service carb is as close to an original as it gets. All the part numbers match. Inspection welcome,, money back guarantee.

Vader, just my opinion (not worth much) I would love to have a number matching carb, w27 rear, or any of the rare items, but for a car that I drive a lot and have fun with, the $1500.00 for a carb can be spent on more important parts. I can have have a 7040251 rebuilt and ready to go for $150.00 If I was building a concourse car then numbers would be important. It would be funny to go to a car show with a crappy paint job and say, but I have a $1500.00 carb.
