Just an FYI, there was no Cutlass Speedminder option in 1972. I sold one of these 2 years ago. Wow, I must have sold it for way too little money....

Yes correct in fact I believe that’s a 1970 safety sentinel which was the last year.

Yes correct for 1970-71 but will work in a 72 for those like me who likes options

Actually an option before then too. But in 71 it was dropped for A body. The option code is U15 Safety Sentinel.

My wife drove my 70 SX once and told me something was buzzing. I did laugh then told here how fast were you going she said 70 but I was set at 75 go figure. Mine went with the car when sold.

Speed minder

'70 has a red indicator light for the high beam and the '71 indicator light was blue.
