This is a nice, straight & rot-free original drive shaft that came out of a 68 442 that I owned years ago. It was a factory Muncie 4-speed car. The overall total length is 57.5" & the center to center distance between the U-joints is 56". The diameter at the wide section of the tube is 3". The cap to cap total distance is 3-5/8", the cap diameter is 1-1/8". It is the one-piece style that the manual trans cars all used, unlike the the automatic cars with the 2-piece tube mated with vulcanized rubber. I had the U-joints replaced & the shaft balance checked way back in the mid 1980's, not very many miles on it since (under 10k). It's been out of the car & stored in the shop since probably 1990-91. I do not have the trans yoke anymore so you will have to supply your own. This should be the same for all 68-72 Cutlass 2-door & 442 with Muncie trans & original O-type rear diff. $195 shipped in the U.S. 48 states & I will ship it in a plastic pipe via FedEx ground.
