I bought this thinking it would fit my 67 and it's too short. The shaft came from a 68 442 auto trans and it's a two piece with the rubber insert. It has the original Saginaw joints. 57.5" long
I cleaned the grease and oil off of it using a scuff pad. The light coat of rust came with it.
The metal is not pitted in the least and the yellow stripe is still visible.
This would be an excellent candidate for a restoration.

Don't want to be dumb, but, guessing that is for a THM400 trans. and that is the yoke for same. Am I correct?

I see on my drive shaft where there were 2 stripes, does that make sense? it is a 1968 Cutlass s adn would the stripes be yellow as well? Thanks ...T
