Selling my spare trans. This is a '37 Buick large case modified with a 51 Olds gear gut that was done often back in the day. Using the 37 case gives you a floor shift eliminating all the linkage issues and the problematic selector trans deficiencies. All the gears are in good shape. I added a new input bearing while apart. Comes with the bell housing and clutch arm with throw out bearing attached.
$900 + the ride. PM me with any questions.
Just out of curiosity, has there been any interest in this? I have a 1955 Olds 98' and am toying with the idea of losing the hydramatic for a manual trans but i don't know if i'd ever be able to find the clutch pedal linkage.

I'm only a few hours away in Plattsburgh
You are the first on this forum. More interest over on the HAMB forum. I know of a 54-55 that was just pulled out of a yard here that was a standard. I could make some calls to see if I can locate it. French Lake auto parts in the midwest might also have a std car in stock. Lots of folks use them from all over the states. Worth a call perhaps.
There is a fella in Utah who just listed a complete tear out for a 60 Olds including the power column that would get you a lot of parts that may get you in the ballpark. At 300 it is a deal but shipping might be heavy.
Let me know if I can help in any way.
