1972 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds Sunroof Weatherstripping Rubber Seals

Hi. I needed new weatherstripping for my 1972 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds sunroof. Nobody would make me just enough for one car. They had a minimum run requirement, so I bit the bullet and had them extruded from decent rubber. They turned out pretty good. You get enough to do one car. Cut and trim to fit. You will have plenty. I did not cut any corners on the portions you get.

I did my best at getting these done, but I am finding out that not all these sunroofs were exactly alike. Most parts are the same and even the rear piece I made for this differs a little from mine so I went with a pattern from a friends car. They both function the same, but when you study these tops, they do differ in some of the parts they used and the installation a little.

My pictures show;

Picture #1 : The set you will be getting. Each side piece is 30 inches long, the front is 40 inches, and the rear is 44 inches.

Picture #2: is a comparison the an original front piece on the left and what you will be getting on the right.

Picture #3: is a comparison the an original side piece on the left and what you will be getting on the right.

Picture #4: is a comparison the an original rear piece on the left and what you will be getting on the right.

Look at the pictures and ask questions. If you own one of these 49 year old cars with this sunroof, it might not be a bad idea to order a set for your car just in case. I have never seen these offered anywhere. Just make sure they fit your car.

All my pieces have been cut to these lengths and are being stored flat as I speak. They will be shipped in a sensibly sized box, but I highly recommend you remove them from the box as soon as it arrives and keep them flat. The one for the front edge is a little bit curved but will lay straight once it is fastened down with that stainless steel part that holds it in place. I soaked mine in hot water then blew a warm hair dryer at it and it set in place great.Buyer agrees to pay 190.00 Plus $10.00 SHIPPING to the lower 48 states.

I am sorry but no international shipping including our friends in Canada.
