1970 455 W-30 F heads

I was wondering if anyone on this site could give me a rough estimate as to what price I should put on a set of 1970 F heads?I have taken them apart, cleaned and magnafluxed. There are no cracks in them but do need guides.I have a few guys interested in these and have a idea what I should be asking but was wondering if anyone has seen these sold and for how much?

Just my opinion, but the price for honest used F heads seems to have settled around $1000 each.

You can find them advertised for a whole lot more, and sometimes see pairs for about $1500 and single heads for under $1000.

Up to the $3500 range for a pair.

I have sold 4 sets in the past 2 years. It is just a matter of how much they have been cut on. I sold a set that was cut .060 for $1500. The other 3 sets I had were either uncut or only cut .010 and I got between $3000 and $3500 for them. If they have not been cut and just need a complete rebuild you should not have a problem getting $3000 for them.
