Will this fit 69 442

Hi Bob. I'm interested in this rear end. Will this bolt directly into a 1969 442 A body? If so I'll take it. Thanks. Barry

YES I bolted in a 70 W-27 posi into my 64 Cutlass with 3.91 gears. Might have coil perch problems like I did but worked out ok.

I was hoping for a remove and replace without having to alter or customize spring perch. Thanks for the info.

You should not have any coil perch problems, 67 uses pigtail ends on both sides of the springs.

The only thing i see is the shock mounts are off set and may require some modification to get the right angle for the shocks . I have not bolted it into a non Vista body to see if it is an issue . BOB

I appreciate your insight. I'll keep looking for an A-body replacement to keep it a simple swap. If you have one that I overlooked in the classifieds, I'd be interested .So keep me in your contact list please. Thanks. Barry
