This is a original 1967 425 ci. motor, it was a good runing motor when was pulled out, it was in a 442, it was a 4 speed car, short block is still together, heds was removed, still have heads, re used the intake, flywheel, and distributor. Selling just heads and short block, asking 1000. Call 352-216-2273

In 1967 the factory engine for the 442 would have been a 400. I only know of a couple 425's that were setup for manual transmissions, although a 400 crankshaft would fit in a 425 block. If you would post some of the casting number that might help people know exactly what parts you have. John

I read the ad to mean the motor was last installed in a 442, not that it came stock in that application. A lot can happen in 45 years. Cranks can be drilled, conversion bearings/bushings installed, etc.

OK, I agree that may be what the OP was saying. If he would post the casting numbers it might be easier to sell as then people would know for sure what year/engine size the components came off of. John
