I just joined and have a set of 66 389395 B heads and wondering if what they are worth as is and if they were magma fluxed and cleaned are they worth a lot more.

What is the condition, will they need valve guides and valves? How about the valve seats? Small or large valve? Do they have the V code stamped in the front of the one head or some other letter? The V code was 442 only and would have more demand. I like to do the hot tank and magniflux just to make sure they don't have any cracks. Over the years I've had a few that were cracked, but I didn't see it before cleaning and magging.

 

Yep, I would have them cleaned and magged. Makes it easier to sell. It's a crap shoot trying to sell used parts without actually knowing and shipping ain't cheap.
