Hi I just found this today, 1-29-2012, do you still have the carbuertor? I'm instrested, my 56 0lds carb has been built twice by supposedly Master Carb builders, never worked after they built it, need another one to start with, a correct 4GC. Ben

carb guy

I sent my 56 4GC carb to Don Monroe he advertises in JWO. If you aren't a member here is his number 253-566-8488.
I rebuilt my carb . it ran better than it did , but the driver side idle screw would not respond to movement. Now I don't like to spend anymore to get things done and I hate to outsource things I think I can do. That being said. Don took good care of me and my carb. He adjusted and fixed my bent linkages. He rebuilds the carb and then test runs and adjusts it on his running 55 olds. I would highly recomend him for somebody that is looking to have there carb rebuilt. When I recived it back I just bolted it on hooked it up. and she fired right up with two pumps . I set the timing that was way of due to poorly running carb . It runs liked crazy. idle is smooth response is crisp. I am very happy with Dons work.I would recomend Him to everyone looking for a good rebuilder.
hope this helps .
