For hard to reach places I have used RUSTEX. I had great results when I used it in the navy. Rusted areas prone to salt attack and it worked great. I have used it on autos and construction equipment with great results. I put it on my rusted snow plow and after two years it is standing tuff!!

If I ever do a frame off on my Cutlass I am simply going to clean and paint the frame and not worry about rust. My frame is very solid, I'll be more worried about the sheet metal. By the time my frame rusts much beyond surface rust the body will either have to be repaired or rotted out, or I'll be dead before the frame rusts out. Even my daily driver (2000 Grand Marquis) through salty winters has a very solid frame, some surface rust but it's the body that is beginning to rot out.

How does paint stick to galvanized? When ever I seen people paint of galvanized, it peals off after a couple of years.Sounds like a great way to protect your frame for life, what would be a cost for doing that?
