I have searched the threads about splatter paint and found excellent information about recommended brands. My question refers to color and time used for my 66 Cutlass vert. So did the 66 really have splatter paint and what color.
My car is painted the correct Target Red, built in Lansing with an 01 A build code, with a black interior, black top, but was born with a white top. Looking forward to comment.
Likewise, if specific information about the 66 is in this forum just please lead me to it.

66 guys would know for sure but I think the trunk compartment did not use the Spatter and was painted body color. 67's used the spatter.

All 66 Olds A Body car trunk compartments were painted body color. No spatter painted trunks in 66.
