I have a new Spectra Premium fuel tank being delivered today. Should this new tank be painted before putting it back in?

Bill, you can paint it as a MAW. The determining factor should be where you live. If you're up north then it's definitely a good idea, if you're in the midwest or down south it's not as necessary. As I mentioned in the other thread I painted the exterior of my tank with brush-on Rust-oleum. If you want to paint your's an OE color I'm sure someone can let you know how they were prepped at the factory.
