Gents,

What do you think about this blue engine color?? Has anyone ever used this brand Omni Pak master blend, made by some guy out of Michigan.

I like it. But then I like any Oldsmobile engine, whatever the color.

Looks like original from the early '70's to me. I love that color Oldsmobile came up with.

Were the notched valve covers on both sides? My '70 SX had A/C , but I dont recall the notched covers, assuming they were for the A/C box clearance.( all I was concerned about back then was horsepower)

Omni-Pak isn't a paint brand it's a pre-charged with solvent and propellant aerosol spray can and can filling system.
The guy mixes up the paint or buys it then fills the cans.
That engine looks really good.

I agree, it looks really nice. What vendor did you buy it from? John

My '71 SX has notched valve covers on both sides to clear the a/c and the break booster.

I think I'll order the paint. It's expensive at 32 bucks for two cans, but the color is very nice. John I don't know how you feel about e-bay, but that's where u have to get this blend. Here's a link to his store. I have purchased items from him in the past without any issues.
