‘70 Supreme Inner Fender Wells

Hi All,
Any recommendations for trying to restore the plastic inner fender wells? Has anyone had luck with repainting DIY style with spray cans? Did it adhere?

The trick is, to get it super clean, sand it very well, with something like a 400 grit, and use an adhesion promoter before paint. I like "Bulldog" brand. You can get in spray cans, too.
