68 W-30 stripe thread

I know there was an extensive discussion with photos on the correct position and width of the stripe on a 68 . I am ready to paint fenders and can't find the thread. Any help would be appreciated.

These are some pictures I took awhile back. Note that the numbers are also in a different position than cars without the stripe.

From the bottom edge of the stainless trim to the top of the numbers, I measure 12 11/32" on both sides. From the back edge of the fender to the number edge, it measures 1 1/4" on both sides.

That's about as close as I can get. Hope this helps.

Thanks Randy. Before I paint them , I am going to post a picture of the stripes laid out. No need not to get them right. John

John - check out the first entry on page 3 of wmachine's mentioned thread. You won't get anything better than those dimensions.
