Hello there! I wanted to see if anyone could recommend a brand of paint for the 400 engine in my 1968 442. I know that it is supposed to be Olds bronze but I'm not sure where to get the correct shade from. All I could find on the subject was an old Facebook thread that wasn't very useful. My end goal is to have the the car look like it just rolled off the line in Lansing. Right now I'm between OldsParts and Fusick. Thank you in advance for your help and have a great day!!

The question there isn't a correct answer for. You go to an Olds Nationals and there will be 10 different bronze paints. The correct answer is nobody makes it like the factory look you're looking for. They were originally painted with lacquer paint and had a low/flat gloss. Most guys today like the Fusick bronze.
This is Fusicks engine and air cleaner paint.
The air cleaner paint is pretty close.
The 400 bronze is OK but its got too much copper color and flake.
It needs more red in it like Mike's engine.
That's the color mine was before the rebuild.

The color on my engine was matched from a set of covers that were taken off a car when it was new and put in a box where they stayed until I acquired them. My neighbor was a paint rep and he and the store worked on it for over a month to get a match. Koda bought them from me and I guess he still has them.
I should point out that mine was done a long time ago. They may have learned a thing or two since then. I was advised that the red would become more evident after it cured, but it's still pretty much gold. Can we consider 15 years a reasonable cure time?
Other Fusick examples I see on this thread look like they may have over-corrected a bit.

The earlier Fusick color wasn't good at all. The newer most recent color is much better. It's still not correct but it seems to be the choice of most. When the question is asked about who's bronze is the best opens a can of worms and if you asked 20 guys you will get 20 different answers.
