here is the way the fuel pump was piped when i got the car,does it look right , can,t imagine how the pressure that is needed at the carb is maintained when the return line is set up like it is,any thoughts?thanks will.

 

Wrong fuel pump. made for a car that doesn't require a return line. You can buy the correct one from NAPA

I also noticed how the spark plug contacts are painted just like the engine. That certainly cannot help performance any... I would either clean the paint from them or just replace them to prevent misfire.

 

thanks for the quick replys, very much appreciated , i do have some new spark plugs, just waiting till i get the exaust manifolds on ,so i don,t brake them , thanks again ,will.
