Help me out with my bozo move!

I was out working on my car this afternoon, and after I got done working on it, like a goof I locked the keys in the car. Low and behold, I do not have a spare set either. So do any of you pros out there know of a semi-easy way yo get back in my car. Or should I wait til Monday to get a hold of the local lock smith?

You didn't say what the car is, so I will assume that it it an older model. If this is the case, and the door lock has a locking button at the rear, then the solution isn't as difficult as you might think. Get a carpenters saw, and insert it into the door parallel to the window. Gently move it toward the handle of the door, and when it stops, then slowly move it upward. The idea is that the teeth on the saw will catch the linkage of the door lock, and pull the lock button into the unlock position. Once you have the keys out, then make another set, or better yet, get the key numbers and keep them in your wallet.

Easy for the '64.

Not easy for a late model Mercedes.
