The fleet has grown 1986 Calais Coupe
Saved this tan 1986 Calais coupe from the scrappers. It's got a whole lot of issues but I hope to return it to its former economical glory. The body is remarkably good for its age although the interior needs quite a bit of work. It actually ran long enough to pass smog then died on the way home. Parked next to the Calais is my 1990 Custom Cruiser which is my current daily.
After a wash
The car arrived from the auction like this. I had to remove the cheap wheelcovers as they obstructed access to the schrader valves.

Pass Memory
Reminds me of my mother's car, but she had the 86 Cutlass Calais in gray. A car she could drive that she didn't have issues seeing over the hood. Have NOS parts if interested. Newbie here. Hope I can mention parts. Still fumbling my way around this app.

I forgot all about these cars. We had an '85 Grand Am. I member that we had to order the one we wanted. Took over 3 months. Ours was a 5-speed. It took a long time to find 60 MPH but, was a good, fun car to drive.
Good luck and enjoy...
This is the same color and with the fog lights.
