f85 carb problem?

hello, i have a 61 f85 with the 215.my car runs great...untill it gets all warmed up.it starts choking and stalling ,mainly when accelerating .ive rebuilt my carb with a couple diff kits .my fav being from ''hobbs carb shop in pelham nh'' but none had a good exel pump,so i got a original delco remy from the 60s off ebay .mint shape works fine. .but i feel it is still a carb problem it is the original rochester carb ,2 barrel. Anyone have any input on my problem ive hit a wall.other then i have heard that the carb can get too hot so i should put a spacer under it????

thanks
jim

Spacer, fuel filter, and the sock in the tank should be checked, too.

does the choke valve open all the way when it's warmed-up?

Seems to me as a choke problem, possibly combined with vacuum advance acting up.

i made my own manual choke conversion. manual choke now.chokes fine.i was looking towards the vacum advanced but it wouldnt explain why it only happens when its all warmed up. i can drive around for a good half hour ,running perfect.then all of a sudden it runs like garbage. i read a old thread on a chevy site where the guy had the same problem and he found his carb was boiling and or the gas was becoming too hot and too thin.he claimed to put a heat spacer inbetween (the spacers that look like cardboard) and solved his problem.
