hello. i have a 61 f85 w/215. i would like to add a brake booster,but if anybody knows this car youl know there is no room.haha. i was thinking of a power steering pump with brake assist for a lil boost???? would this work??. does anyone kno a trick or is there a universal booster i can use???? maybe some sort of electric assist or............?

this is the original setup. i read somewhere in the past couple months that you can install one from another make of car but can't remember what it was. i will look and see if i can find the thread on it. it may have been on oldsjetfire.com or maybe Joe P knows.

sorry, i meant to say one for under the hood from a differant make. it is a close fit to make something work. is your car a manual or automatic? if it is manual, you can't put one under the dash like original.

so perhaps make a booster that will fit under the dash rather then under the hood?
