1961 f 85 engine gaskets

Hi , i must replace my head/engine gasket so i bought fel pro gasket and i would like to know if the blue side must be on the engine block or head ? must i put rtv sealer on ? for the intake gasket , must i put rtv sealer too ?

For the head gasket, the blue side will be on the head and the metal side will be on the block.

The intake gasket, I use RTV around the water ports and Edelbrock Gasgacinch on the intake ports.

Thanks so much for all those informations ! about the intake gasket , only sealer on ports not all around the gasket on the side block ?

I do the same thing on both sides (top and bottom) of the intake gasket.
