It's not mine and I don't know who it belongs to, but it's definitely an oldie. Too bad it doesn't have a title.

What kind of transmission does this car have? I thought the Hydramatic didn't debut until 1940?

It got my attention, what a gangster ride that would make! Transmission would probably be a three speed floor stick (could be a truck 4 speed though). It would be a job to do a original restore with all the wood framing that would need to be built by hand. Truly rare unique and unusual..... Tedd

This is a REO , not an Oldsmobile .
REO offered a " self shifting " transmission in 1934 . More details in this article ;
