I've used FASTENAL as well for a cross-country shipment and it worked well. It's not fast but I found FASTENAL to be reliable. It took exactly two weeks for two crates to get from Washington State to Virginia. You'll have to crate the trunk lid first if you use FASTENAL. I went to the FASTENAL store and asked questions first to make sure what I had and how I crated it would be something they would accept. You would have to take your crated trunk lid to the FASTENAL store and they recipient would have to pick it up at the nearest local FASTENAL store. But it worked well for me.
