Rocker Panel Inspection, Cleaning, Rustproofing
Rocker Panel Inspection, Cleaning, Rustproofing
I'm checking my car for any rust. My 72 Cutlass is in good shape everywhere I can see, but the insides of the rocker panels remain a mystery. I'm looking to prevent unnecessary rust deterioration.
Has anybody reading this ever attempted to inspect inside the rocker panel cavities using a borescope or other method?
How about cleaning debris out of the rocker panels? Using water, or air? I have picked some leaves, etc out of the small holes available, so I'm sure there's other stuff in there.
How about applying cavity wax inside the rocker panels? I have some 3M cavity wax with the long wands but I don't want to apply it over any loose debris that may be hidden in there.
