i have noticed that a lot of guys have pictures of their car appear under their name when they reply to posts. how do i get mine to show up when i make replys or post s question. i know how to add them to a post but just not sure how you set it up to appear under your name. thanks chris

 

above the posting area you'll see some things to click on, go to "usercp"
under control panel on the left you'll se "edit avatar"
it's in there.

 

Hopefully it works for you. The website has been having trouble with that function for awhile. If not you can get ahold of Omicron. He is the adminstrator that does computer stuff. If all else fails you can add a pic at the bottom of your posts in your signature.

 

i went to the avitar and it was marked as not use it. i tried to uncheck it but it wont un check. any ideas? thanks chris

 

I am not as good as Paul (Omicron) but I tried something. See if you can download a custom avatar now.

I uploaded mine under 'Edit Signature'...towards the bottom, there is an option to "upload signature picture".

 

tried the edit signature part see if it works

 

try again it said i could only use my signature picture once

 

went to the signature page and it shows my cars picture as "current signature picture" but nothing shows up on my posts. maybe i should just forget this idea. chris

 

Did you click "insert signature picture"? If it doesn't show under Preview, it won't show when you post...should work though...don't give up!

i tried that scott nothing it goes to another screen with my picture and in the area for typing it says "sigpic" over and over and at the top says i can only use my picture once. but nothing happens

What about deleting gallery pics? They don't get big when you click on them. I need to resize them and repost.
