Mini Starter & Clutch Return Spring

I am considering installing a mini starter in my 66 442 due to hot start issues. (headers) On a stock starter, there is a hole to bolt on the bracket for the clutch return spring. Do the mini starters have a similar hole? If not, where did you hook the spring?

I made a tab and fastened it to a header tube with a hose clamp.

Does anyone have any experience with a Mini Starter of the SNAP brand? I see this one on eBay for 139.99.......http://www.ebay.com/itm/271635898052...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Thoughts?

Randy, I have a mini-starter on both of my cars and they both are sticks. I made brackets (actually used the starter brace) and both work great. Lots more room with the smaller starter. Both of my cars are small-blocks with Hooker headers, but they all are close to being the same.

Great idea. I still have the one for my car.
Thanks Dave!
