Well I got this when I bought my F85 (1965) and I don't know what the hell it is! So someone tell me [An honest opinion would be appreciated]

One of many brands of aftermarket underdash a/c unit. These were common in the 60s and early 70s until factory installed units got popular.
They were generally cheaper than the factory in-dash jobs and would run circles around them performance-wise. Factory units cooled hot humid outside air unless set to recirc. These recirculated the already cooled and dehumidified air in the car full time.
