The red paint is gone from the hood rocket emblem and trunk CS emblem. Fusick says those emblems are not being reproduced, so I need to have mine restored. Anyone know of someone who does that? My artistic skills aren't that good.

 

I used red and black touch up paint that closely matched stock colors from my local auto parts store. Then used acetone, a rag, and my fingertip to clean off the paint that got on the surrounding chrome.

 

A pin striper looked at the trunk emblem on my '68 convertible. The metal and everything was real nice, only the red paint on it was gone for the most part. He matched the color and repainted the emblem - it looks brand new!
