EEVIR Rebuild on a 1975 - Should I just replace these valves?

Rebuilding the AC system on my 1975 98 Regency again after a "reman" compressor blew what I can only describe as "grit" throughout the whole system in the first five seconds of running. Bought a new Alma A6 and parallel flow condenser from Cooler Classics, flushed the lines and evaporator and am working on rebuilding the VIR unit. I extracted the POA and expansion valve and I'm wondering if they can actually be cleaned and re-used or if I should just try and find replacements. Thoughts?
