Post Curved Dash

Just read you posting on Curved Dash. I'm rebuilding one and looking for others doing the same so jointly we could get new parts made benefitting from economies of scale. Any interest?

Wow, and I thought getting parts for a 1964 394 was hard! I bet all of the parts for a Curved Dash Olds would have to be custom manufactured.

Those tears under the headlights signify a 55 Buick Special

From the Smithsonian Collection:

This car has a one-cylinder engine, with a 4/12-inch bore and a 6-inch stroke. The engine is placed horizontally with the cylinder head at the rear of the car and the flywheel below the seat. The car had a starting crank on the right side of the body, designed so that the driver could crank the engine while seated in the car. It has planetary transmission. The car's wheelbase is 66 inches and the tread 55 inches. It has metal step plates and fenders, a wooden body and a steel frame, and oil burning lamps ........
They were water cooled.

DAVE. I am a member of the Motor Vehicle Enthusiast Club in Darwin & we are planning to build a replica of a 1902 model "R" curved dash oldsmobile, perhaps we could share information to help each other.

EARL.
I live in Darwin Australia where I am a member of the Motor Vehicle Enthusiast Club, we are preparing to build & replica Model "R" odsmobile & would be greatfull for any help you could give with dimentions, we have not found any data on bodywork & even a few basic measurements would allow us to scale pictures ect. Our website is http://users.on.net/~mvec/ if you would like to have a look.
I hope an exchange of information will be mutually benificial.
