Never. I'm older than dirt but this is even older. Most on this site seem to think muscle car era Oldsmobiles are old and I guess they are depending on your age. I think of cars from 20s and 30s as 'old' and cars from 40s and 50s are what was on the road when I was a kid.

I am not entirely convinced of its veracity.

This, however, is a real curved-dash owner's manual (at least according to GM).

Fascinating. You really had to study things and do everything right to even get it to start and go. I failed the test on what I had to know to operate the Olds. Humiliating. I do know about retarding the spark and setting the throttle to start Model T Fords and other old gas engines but that is about the extent of it.

The source of the order form is C.A.D.L. R.E.Olds/Anderson collection, quote on PDF is (original document) Anderson is the grandson of Ransom Olds.
to 47 convertable sorry I am with the rest of the gang! But any Olds stuff new or old is still cool but I agree with you the Older the better except for women & wine because they both have the same problem, they both turn bitter, everything settles to the bottom after that you can seem to get rid of them fast enough (L.O.L.)

A variety of R.E.O. images can be found within this .pdf catalogue of documents.
