Air Condition

I have a 1985 Oldsmobile Regency..
Everytime I turn my fan on the A/C fuse blows, but if I keep it off,and it does not blow. My A/C compressor does not work right now, and was going to buy it, but I figured this problem out, so I want to fix this first. What coul cause this?
Thanks

On all speeds or just one? Try to find the fan motor lead and disconnect it close to the motor. If the fuse no longer blows then the motor is shorted or stuck.

Well, I didnt get a chance to put it on any other speed, but whenever the fuse blew I put a new one, same size (25) and it stayed on a little longer, about a minute, and my car also turned off!

Report back your battery voltage at the terminals with the car running. If you are dropping voltage (causing your lights to dim in your other thread) then that could cuse the motor to pull more current and blow the fuse.

Fix the voltage problem first, then we'll work on the A/C.

A car doesn't need to A/C to be driven
