I have a 1985 Oldsmobile Regency..
Everytime I turn my fan on the A/C fuse blows, but if I keep it off,and it does not blow. My A/C compressor does not work right now, and was going to buy it, but I figured this problem out, so I want to fix this first. What coul cause this?
Thanks

Well, I didnt get a chance to put it on any other speed, but whenever the fuse blew I put a new one, same size (25) and it stayed on a little longer, about a minute, and my car also turned off!
Report back your battery voltage at the terminals with the car running. If you are dropping voltage (causing your lights to dim in your other thread) then that could cuse the motor to pull more current and blow the fuse.
Okay guys, the problem was the connector that goes to the A/C compressor, it was touching metal causing a short. Thanks everyone for your help. I still cant find what makes my car sit sideways thouh. Help.!!
